We are just a part of Estella's legacy as she had a total of seven children, many grandchildren & many great-grandchildren. We have diverse backgrounds in Business, Theatre, and Psychology.

 We are of a Caribbean heritage where Pride, Confidence, and Self-awareness were a part of our upbringing. Because our mom lived until the age of ninety-five, she instilled the same values in her Grand and Great-grandchildren.

Understanding our values made us appreciate who we are and from whence we came. We felt that we should do our utmost to make a difference in how our young children of color view themselves.

We decided to author this book (#1 of 6) to give parents a tool to share the knowledge of our history by instilling in our children a sense of Self-esteem and Self-worth.
