This book, Estella's Legacy, is an absolute MUST read for everyone and only children! We all are well aware that we were robbed of the RICH Black history that we should have been taught in school. However, this book took a really deep dive in a most interesting journey, 'Time Traveling', where the children learned about Black Kings and Imhotep, universal God of Medicine. I found myself eager to turn the pages to learn more while reading to my Grandchildren.
Job well done by the Authors, I highly recommend this book, 'Estella's Legacy'.

At doctors appointment with mom, I just read the he book. This book is awesome, I love it. I disagree with you that it is a children's book, I know that adults as well as children needs to read this book. It's a easy read and has a wealth of knowledge. OMG I can't wait for the next one. I absolutely love this book. Well done guys. I think I might have to keep this one and buy another for my grand children.

Too many of us, adults as well, think that our history began and ended with slavery. This book is a very cool tool and a fun way, to introduce the topic of our rich history to the younger ones. I hope this book is the first of many on this subject by the authors. Excellent!

Wow! Per a recommendation from a friend, I purchased this book for my 9 year old grandson.
However, he had to wait for me to finish reading it first!
The book may have been written for children, but I was engaged from beginning to end!
I found it interesting, informative and a great read; even as an adult I learned something new.
Best of all my grandson who doesn't like to read LOVED it too!
I look forward to the rest of the series.

The questions will come and I think this book is a good preparation for things that we should not wait for them to ask, but anticipate. Looking forward to more from Estella's Legacy.

Each one Teach one! The truth about HIS-story( our story)! especially African history which is woven in the fabric of our nation. The sad part is that it has been well hidden, ignore, forgotten and lied about from our children young and old. Estella's Legacy untangles the misguided threads and knits together a beautiful framework of the truth about our African history. I LOVED how the Estella took us on a time machine to see how significant our people of greatness contributions impacted our nation. The foundation of this nation was built on the backbone of our African ancestors that has been deliberatly left out of the pages of our history books.
Well, Estella's Legacy has brought it back to life. I myself didn't even know about who the FIRST father of medicine was and also much more enriched information about my antecedents that was beutifully written in this book. I had to google it! (Yes, I Did 😉) and sure enough it was there in black and white, Wow!!
I couldn't wait to turn the pages of Estella’s Legacy and time travel to learn more wonderful information on amazing things my forefathers had accomplished.
I had loaned the book to my neighbor (who is not African American) to read and she also LOVED it!.
A MUST READ especially for our children of color and all races I might add, so they can know the truth of we are, where they came from and the people of greatness that is in our DNA.
I pray that this book will be a series of many more to come and be read at home, churches and our schools, to educated and empower our children off today and beyond!!
